Went in Monday morning to view one of their part exchange vehicles they were advertising. Had rung beforehand to prepare them of my visit. I was told they are 'flat out' and that the gist of what the salesman there told me was that they are too busy. I was told to come back later in the afternoon despite me being willing to wait a bit longer. After waiting a further 30 minutes I will still told the same answer. It may well have been Monday morning but at the end of the day it is their vehicle and my money that I am willing to spend and I am the customer. I Won't be going back there again.
I do not often leave reviews for products or service I receive, however the experience and service I received from a particular member of staff in your branch was exceptional. From the moment I walked In the show room Bay was immediately attentive and enthusiastic , his approach about finding out more about me and my wife and how he could help us felt very genuine and for once I felt comfortable and did not feel like I was speaking to some who was just trying to pressure me into buying something. As we have never bought a new car and did not understand the process and products that were available to us, he really took his time and ensured that we understood everything without rushing us, the young gentleman really made us feel like VIP’s. It was amazing to see that the level of service did not change even once he knew we could not be making a purchase that day, which is often the case with most sales men. His knowledge of the products is amazing, it is clear he is good and has a genuine passion for his job and knows the products that Volvo offer inside out rather than just giving me a brochure to read though myself. Although we did not buy a car or make a decision that day with the advice and information he gave us, me and my wife were able to discuss what we wanted to do at home. We have visited many other dealerships in the area, which made the process of buying a new car sound very daunting and scary. Me and my wife have decided we will be buying a Volvo in a few months and will be requesting Bay Smith to handle the process. I find myself often telling people about the bad service I get and how they shouldn’t go there, it is nice for once to be telling everyone about the amazing service I got and if they are thinking about buying a new car or simply want information they should go to Volvo and ask for a young man called Bay. I have no doubt that the after service I will receive will be above and beyond what I expect, this young man is a credit to your company and after the service he gave us he has left a very good tarnish on the name of Volvo as a brand. Just bought a used hybrid V60 , , great buying experience, vehicle was prepared immaculately and drives like a new car. Cameron was friendly and helpful as a salesman. My first Volvo after 8 vw/audis , and have been impressed so far.
